No community has been more deeply impacted by the HIV/AIDS epidemic than ours. In the 1980s, HIV/AIDS devastated the LGBTQ+ community worldwide.

Although treatment has advanced significantly, there is still much to accomplish. That's why the Liberal Pride group is committed to supporting initiatives aimed at ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic by 2030. Our community has endured immense suffering, and decisive leadership from the government can finally halt the spread of this deadly virus. Having long been involved in HIV/AIDS research and education, we endorse policies that include:

• Increased accessibility to preventive medications like PrEP.
• Expanded testing opportunities for at-risk populations.
• Aggressive treatment options for individuals with HIV/AIDS.
• Subsidies for medications and treatments related to HIV/AIDS.

The Liberal Pride group stands ready to collaborate with government leaders to achieve the goal of eliminating HIV/AIDS once and for all.
