We, as members of the Liberal Pride, celebrate the diversity and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community, affirming that everyone deserves to live authentically and without discrimination. While we uphold the right of every adult to pursue their happiness freely, we unequivocally reject and oppose conversion therapy.

Grounded in scientific evidence and ethical principles, we advocate for:

• A nationwide prohibition on conversion therapy for individuals.
• As a party committed to individual liberty, we respect the autonomy of adults while recognizing the harmful effects documented by studies on conversion therapy, particularly its psychological and physical impacts. The most severe consequences are observed in young people, leading to enduring issues, including heightened risks of suicide. We denounce conversion therapy and endorse legislative measures at state and federal levels to prohibit its practice.
